Exploring the Beartooth Mountains | Truck Camping, Hiking, and the Freedom to Roam
With a few open weeks in the middle of summer before our next commitments, we set our sights on an area neither of us had really ever spent much time in. The Beartooth Mountains, a rugged stretch of peaks that straddle south-central Montana and northwest Wyoming and home to some of the tallest mountains in Montana and one of the most scenic drives in the country. It had been a while since we’d spent any real time up high in the mountains, and we were excited for the chance to wander and soak it all in.
We didn't have a specific plan for this trip (in our typical fashion) but it ended up being even better than expected. We really enjoyed a slow pace, finding beautiful camp spots, hiking through the alpine and celebrated 11 years of adventures together! This area is absolutely stunning and we can’t wait to go back and explore further.
Be sure to watch the full video linked above and let us know what you think! We had a lot of fun putting it together and we hope you enjoy it!
